Shoppi10906387_346223032234491_2445526141890138299_nng is a pleasure that never gets old.  While the items newness fades good quality and how that purchase made you feel remains. One thing that should remain with you is Monkey Business.  To some shopping is no monkey business and in this case your shopping should be all about Monkey Business!

Monkey Business is a men’s and women’s apparel company.  Their designs are inspired from the purest places on earth and 11391538_403852253156778_2913332424451331379_nnature.  I had the pleasure of meeting the CEO and Founder  Daniel Franco  who  had a really cool print of a deer on his shirt. His career change from corporate america to his love for nature has allowed him to trust the monkey and reach for his dream through his clothing company.

One of the great things about Monkey Business is the connection with people and nature. On their site they are running a nature contest that allows people to submit pictures  that may very well inspire a future design.  If you would like to submit your video and or pictures click here. The sales posted on their blog site is a great way to get some original designer shirts within your budget. Be sure to check them out and join their newsletter.

What’s An Alligator Got To Do With It?

Written by Samantha L. Cooper, M.Ed.

https://profcooper.wixsite.com/designsbysammcooper

As a Florida resident alligator sightings are very frequent.  While population increases natural landscapes are reshaped and our waterways are often1398452_719345234781732_832034109892867592_o frequented by alligators. Do we really know what is among us? Well, in the new full-length documentary “Dinosaurs Among Us…The American Alligator” directed by Lisa Giles, Ceo of LJ & P Productions simplifies it for us. See preview below.

She hopes to bring some insight and educate people on what’s lurking in our waters and illustrate through cinematography how we can coexist with them.

To ensure that her project is successful feel free to donate to her kickstarter campaign which closes in 39 Days!

How a Tsunami Can Save Your Life

Written by Samantha L. Cooper, M.Ed.

Cooperwrites29@yahoo.com

Bad things happen to people every day. Sometimes the best plan against theft or bodily offenses is awareness. Being aware of your surroundings is crucial to your safely. Some may even suggest that distractions prevent us from noticing the little things. The little things we notice add up to big mistakes. Sometimes we are going about our normal daily routine and get caught up in our own world and we fail to notice odd behaviors. We failed to recognize the most obvious signs of danger.

It was very obvious to me that we all need better security. When my friend Steve Teachout, Director of Oceans 10 security shared a video of his new product called “Tsunami” with me, I was extremely impressed.

I wanted to let more people know about this amazing security system. Tsunami is a cutting-edge 360 nonstop 24 hours a day security system. It runs circles around the traditional security cameras that we know of today. See for yourself!

After learning about the scope of this product, I wanted to contribute. Here is how you can do the same!
